About Us

PROUD TO BE A CONGOLESE

We; Congolese nationals of the Democratic Republic of Congo living in the Republic of Uganda:

- United by destiny and by history,

- United around the noble pan-African ideals of fraternity, solidarity, and patriotism for the defense of the interests and achievements of our dear country;

- Driven by the concern for integration, reintegration and the promotion of Congolese culture in all its diversity.

- Considering that a divided nation always remains weak, fragile and exposed to adversity.

- Affirming our attachment to the mother country and its cultural and linguistic values.

- Driven by the desire to see all Congolese living in Uganda work together in integrative projects with the view providing themselves better prospects for development and socio-economic progress.Aware of our responsibilities before history, we decided to create the association of Congolese living in Uganda, La Communauté des Congolais Vivant en Ouganda”, “CCVO” for short.

The Congolese diaspora in Uganda aims to be the umbrella and federalist of all Congolese organizations and associations present here in Uganda.
